Gardening, Bike riding, Health, Whole-food, Just enjoying life at 70 +
Last year I had two goals 1. Ride my bike to the city 2. Ride my bike one mile for each year of my birth. I did not fulfill either goal. So this year I said I’m going to do it this year. I would Like to Thank My #2 son for riding with me to complete both goals. I rode to the city and back a total of 76.3 miles.
I love my backyard garden and have had a great harvest, The insects left me more than enough food. The flowers are so beautiful.
I went to the Veggie Fest 2017 in Lisle Illinois and had a great time. There were a lot of vegan options. There were food demos, Music, Great Speakers, Yoga, and much more.
I enjoy making steel oats in the instant pot. I can start it and get ready for the day and my breakfast is ready. A healthy plant based meal.
I think what you eat and exercise is very important for your health and how you age. I want to show you what I eat in a day on a plant-based diet ( Vegan)
I hit a pot hole about 5-6 weeks ago and fractured my elbow and some other scrapes, all I did to the bike was bent the front brake. The bike is about 15 years old and I didn’t want to put any money into it so I got a new bike, A Giant Thrive. I have not had a new bike since I was a teenager, Long over due. My friends came by and ask me to go on a bike ride, I’m so glad I did. We seen a man on the bike path riding a beautiful horse. We had a great ride. 13.8 mile
